Description Algiz 8 Super Rugged UMPC

The Algiz 8 Rugged UMPC is designed for harsh enviroments, the Algiz 8 delivers maximum
performance to mobile workforces. Algiz 8 is a tablet PC that meets
rigorous military standard for drops, vibration, and condensation. With
an IP65 rating it is protected against dust and water. It handles extreme
temperatures, from –20°C to +50°C. Whatever the conditions are,
the Algiz 8 Rugged UMPC  will do the job.

Algiz 8 rugged U MPC  features an ATOM 1.1 GHz Processor, 60 GB hard drive and
1 GB RAM. The Microsoft Windows XP Professional operating system
runs all the applications well known to PC users, including Calendar,
E-mail, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

To provide reliable communication in the field, Algiz 8 features
integrated Bluetooth that connects easily to other peripheral devices.
The 802.11a/b/g wireless provides access to local area network, e-mail
and the Internet. GPRS or CDMA cellular capability, as well as high
sensitivity GPS are optional.

For the ultimate user experience Algiz is built compact and lightweight. To
supply an ergonomic and secure grip Rugged Algiz 8 also features an integrated
hand strap and several other carrying options. The 8.4” outdoor SVGA
TFT resistive touchscreen is sunlight viewable. For even better outdoor
visibility there is an optional of sunlight viewable 1100 nit screen. A hot
swappable battery lets you continue working all day without recharging.,
